Under Graduate Programmes
In Germany, undergraduate programs typically require proof of completion of 13 years of schooling, while countries like India have a standard 12-year schooling system. To meet the requirements, international students from such countries can take either of two paths. Firstly, they can complete a preparatory year in Germany, which serves as the 13th year and fulfills the educational requirement. Alternatively, they can enroll in a degree program and complete the first year, providing proof of the additional year required. It’s important to note that most undergraduate programs in Germany also have language proficiency requirements, with many courses being taught in German. However, there are specialized programs available in English across various fields of study.
